High performance, single-sided coarse foam compounding pad with Hookit attachment backing, and a unique, reduced diameter, inset design for added edge protection. Medium cut. Fits all standard 5/8 inch shaft slow-speed polishers. Uses the 3M 05717 or 3M 05718 backing plates. Suggested for use with Perfect-It Rubbing Compound (39060, 06085, 06086). Refines P1200 or finer sand scratches. The Perfect-It brand means this is 3M’s highest performing single sided foam compounding pad.

This pad can be used for the following applications: cured paint, fresh paint finishes, hardest paint finishes, medium paint finishes, sand scratch removal, and scratch removal.
